Craigieburn Garden
This renowned garden lies hidden amid the Moffat Hills. In its five acres you will find an extraordinary range of plants. This is a new garden made on an old base. The beech trees and old hollies were planted in 1796. Two eighty yard double borders in a classic style are filled with an eclectic range of bulbs, herbaceous plants and shrubs.
The same conditions in which plants and gardens thrive make Dumfries & Galloway an ideal place to take a relaxing break. Whichever the icon of Scotland you think of, it can be found in this region: unspoiled lochs, forests, hills, and coasts. Abundant wildlife such as deer, otters, eagles, kites and over-wintering geese and waders. There are approximately 32 golf courses throughout the region for you to visit and enjoy.
