Getting there from the Information Centre

Within walking distance. Come on to Princes Street and turn right at the Balmoral Hotel on the corner of North Bridge. Cross the Bridge. At the end of the Bridge cross the road to the left for the hotel.

Getting There by Car

From the airport, follow signs to Edinburgh city centre along the A8, through Corstorphine, Murrayfield and Haymarket. At the West End of Princes Street, turn right into Lothian Road and take the first left into Kings Stables Road. Follow this road under the bridge until you reach the Grassmarket. At the T Junction turn left into the Grassmarket and continue through onto the Cowgate under two bridges. Take 1st left after the second bridge into Blackfriars Street. Turn left at the top onto the Royal Mile and 1st Left again into Niddry Street. You can park here while you unload your luggage and the hotel will give you directions to the nearest car park.

Getting There by Railway

Take the train to Edinburgh Waverley Station. The Hotel is within walking distance from here. Come on to Princes Street and turn right at the Balmoral Hotel on the corner of North Bridge. Cross the Bridge. At the end of the Bridge cross the road to the left for the hotel.

Getting there by Aeroplane

Take the Airport bus 100 to Waverley Bridge. Within walking distance. Come on to Princes Street and turn right at the Balmoral Hotel on the corner of North Bridge. Cross the Bridge. At the end of the Bridge cross the road to the left for the hotel as it's situated on the corner of the Royal Mile and South Bridge.
