Getting there from the Information Centre

From TIC in Princes Street cross over to the north side of Princes Street and take one of the following buses going towards Ocean Terminal: 1, 22 or 34(Route 22 is the quickest). Get off at the first stop in Ocean Drive outside the Pottery Painting Centre. Cross over the road to Britannia Spice Restaurant. The entrance to No.146/8 is a few metres further down the cobbled access road.

We are situated in a private road parallel to Commercial Street off Ocean Drive at the junction of Commercial Street, Great Junction Street and Lindsay Road. Commercial Street is a main road and is designated as route A199. If you email us telling us where you are driving from we will happily give you directions.

Getting There by Railway

From Waverly Railway Station in Edinburgh walk up to Princes Street and cross over the road. Getting there by Aeroplane

From Edinburgh Airport take the number 100 Express Airbus. Alight at the Princess Street stop and transfer to any of the following local buses on the same side of Princes Street all heading towards Ocean Terminal: 1, 11, 22 or 34 (Route 22 is the quickest and most frequent service). Get off at the first stop in Ocean Drive outside the Pottery Painting Centre. Cross over the road to Britannia Spice Restaurant. The entrance to 146/8 is a few metres further down the cobbled access road.

Getting There by Ferry

From Rosyth Ferry by car: cross over Forth Bridge and head into Edinburgh on route A90 then route A902 to Leith. At the very end of route A902 (Ferry Road) turn left on to the A901 (Great Junction Street) and carry straight on at the traffic lights heading into Ocean Drive. At the roundabout go all the way round and head back to Commercial Street. Just before Commercial Street there is a cobbled access road on your left by Britannia Spice Restaurant - No.146/8 is a few metres down this road.
