Our ground floor property in a large stone house has recently been entirely refurbished. The modern but traditional kitchen overlooks the large garden where many a day can be spent relaxing, playing croquet or having a BBQ in the Scottish sunshine Dunbar is often named Sunny Dunny!

The house itself has been in the family for decades and the recent refurbishment has been carried out with the utmost love and attention to detail. We want to be home from home and to enjoy the house and surrounding area, as we have for many years.

There is one bedroom and a very comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge. Storage is plentiful so there is plenty of space for a family or two couples to have a comfortable holiday experience. All rooms have been decorated in a modern style but in keeping with the traditional feel of the building. At the end of the very large garden (which gets sun all day long) there is an old hen house which is now a garden hut and is used for the storage of garden furniture, the BBQ and games. The house is on ground floor level and so is very accessible and is suitable for any age group.

Belhaven beach is next to Winterfield Golf Club and is literally just round the corner at the end of Duke Street. Walking, horse riding and kite flying are just some of the things you can do there has been the occasional kite buggy seen on Belhaven sands too!

Dunbar centre is about a fifteen minute walk away and there you will find a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as a leisure centre.
