Ashdene House is an excellent 4 Star Guest House. It has been owned and managed by the Daulby Family for many years and their considerable experience is apparent in the quality of service and comfort provided.

The guest house is situated in a conservation area just 1 mile south of the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. An Edwardian town-house, it has been lovingly restored and beautifully refurbished, retaining many original features.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory, overlooking a peaceful, secluded garden where you can watch local wildlife and birds. Choose from the menu a freshly prepared Scottish Breakfast or select from the cold buffet. Special diets can be catered for if advance notice is given.
Guest bedrooms are beautifully decorated and all have en suite facilities.
There is a variety of good restaurants within 5 minutes walk and a public library next-door offering free internet access.
Walk into town or use the excellent local bus service. The bus route to the centre is 2 minutes walk and buses take 10 minutes to the railway station and city centre. There is free on-street parking on Fountainhall Road.

July and August Bookings must be paid in full two weeks prior to arrival.
