"A very well balanced dish with good consistency and shine which was a very good complement to the meat. The chateau potatoes had good flavour and shape. A very good contrast between the tender venison and the crispiness of the breadcrumbs around the guinea fowl."
Our name means black cooking pot in Gaelic. We cater for tourists, locals and business people. We serve fine Scottish cuisine using the best produce from Scotland's larder, incorporating both traditional and original dishes.
The cellar restaurant is decorated in a traditional style and engenders a quiet, intimate and cosy ambience.
House specialities include West coast broth, scallops and haggis.
