Home-made Fishcakes
"The fishcakes which were made of fresh salmon, smoked haddock and potatoes had obviously been freshly prepared as had the salad. The ingredients used were of a high standard."
Char-Grilled Black Gold Rump Steak
"The Rump steak was of a high standard, it was lean and full of flavour. The fries were freshly made and the wilted spinach which had been flavoured with garlic was a simple accompaniment to the steak. The Bernaise sauce was obviously homemade and had a very buttery smooth texture."
The building was originally a waiting room for steamship passengers on the Leith to Aberdeen route.
Traditionally known for our great seafood, our menu also features a new grill section, showcasing the finest Scottish beef, simply prepared to your specifications.
