Wild Mushroom Pastry with Apple Brandy Cream
"The mushrooms were cooked in duxell fashion and were flavoursome. The pastry was crisp and all the ingredients were of good quality. The flavours all balanced well. The artichoke heart within the salad was an innovative touch which enhanced the flavour. Skilfully prepared and presented."
Roasted Duck Breast with Rhubarb and Ginger Sauce
"The duck was attractively cut into scallops with Dauphinoise potatoes to one side and broccoli florets on the other. All the flavours complemented each other and were appropriate with the duck generally well executed."
The Linton Hotel offers relaxed dining where the decor is contemporary yet comfortable. Our menu changes every few weeks and features daily specials. We use locally sourced beef, lamb, vegetables and eggs, all from within a 2 km radius of the hotel, offering local produce cooked with passion.
