Pencaitland Parish Church

Consecrated in 1242, the earliest part of the church dates from the 12th century. The present building consists of nave, with a gallery at the west end, and two aisles on the north side, the older called the Winton Aisle and the other the Saltoun Aisle. Churchyard with many interesting gravestones, offering houses, renovated carriage house, stables, harness room and cottage. Coffee shop on Thursdays from 2.00-4.00pm in Carriage House, except the ?rst Thursday of the month. A1 from Edinburgh to Tranent, B6355 to Pencaitland. Bus 113 from Edinburgh.
Sunday Service: 10.00am; Sunday Evening Service 6.30pm, every fortnight
