Collegiate church rebuilt in 1449 by William Crichton, Lord Chancellor of Scotland. Restored by Hardy & White 1898 and Benjamin Tindall 1998. Fine pointed barrel vaults over choir and transepts and splendid square tower over crossing. Organ by Joseph Brook & Co. Magni?cent position at head of Tyne valley close to Crichton Castle. Signed road B6367 from A68 at Pathhead. Programme available of occasional services and concerts in summer months
