Built in 1928 as a memorial to George Walpole, Bishop of Edinburgh and his wife Mildred, with assistance from missions in England and USA. Design by J Walker Todd of Dick Peddie & Todd is a Byzantine basilica with a cross in the square plan form, a high central dome and half dome over the sanctuary apse. It is a small church located on south side of High Street, and is popular as a refuge from the main shopping area.
Sunday Services: 9.30am Sung Eucaharist, 6.30pm Evensong on 1st Sunday of month; and Tuesday: Said Eucharist 10.30am
