Attractive 12th-century church, situated beside Duddingston Loch bird sanctuary, south of Arthurs Seat. Dr Neils garden lies adjacent in the church glebe land. During the ministry of the Rev John Thomson 1804-40 (himself a noted landscape painter), the English painter Turner and the Scottish writer Sir Walter Scott both visited the manse. City bus 42/46 to Duddingston Road.
