Opened by Archbishop Gordon Gray in 1962. Designed by Peter Whiston with a slated roof above walls made of cobbles and a rich interior. Stained glass by Dom Basil Robinson, OSB. Stations of the Cross by Vincent Butler (Saltire Award, 1971). Statues of Our Lady and St Mark by Norman Forrest.
