Liberton Northfield Parish Church
Church of Scotland
Built 1869 as a Free Church to designs by J W Smith. North-east tower and broach spire added by Peddie & Kinnear 1873. Interior with raked floor and an ornate arch-braced timber roof springing from short ashlar colonnettes with a variety of leafy capitals. Transepts entered by triple arches expressed on the exterior by triple gables. Virtually unaltered organ by E F Walcker 1903.
