St George's West Church

Designed by David Bryce 1869 with campanile by Sir R Rowand Anderson 1881. Special features are the rose window and the pulpit. Woodwork excellent, mainly original. The organ by Thomas Lewis 1897. The first organist was Alfred Hollins, famous blind organist and composer (1897-1942). City Centre West End.
Sunday Services: 11.00am and 7.00pm; Prayers: Monday to Friday 1.00pm

Busy Church Centre and café open Monday to Friday 10.00am-3.30pm; Saturday 10.30am-12.30pm, all year
