By John Henderson, 1847, a single-nave building of six bays under a pitch-slated roof with a battlemented tower. Four-bay aisleless nave and one-bay chancel; the sixth bay forms the entrance and vestibule to the west end. Triple arcading at the west wall, originally supporting a gallery, now subsumed into a suite of rooms served by a new staircase. Stone altar, font and pulpit. Gifted oak panelling on lower east wall c.1914. The blocked east window has been ?lled with a mural of Christ Enthroned by John Busby 1962. Pipe organ, James Conacher & Sons 1880, rebuilt in 1965 by N P Mander and relocated in 1998 by Lightoller. Church hall, originally a school, below the church. Redevelopment and refurbishment, Simpson & Brown 1998.
