Splendidly bold French Gothic by Peddie & Kinnear, 1861-63. A spectacular interior with leafy stone capitals carrying a diagonal arch-braced roof of laminated timber. Gothic spire with chiming clock at the south corner. Windows by Ballantine and field & Allen. The chancel furnishings make an impressive pitch-pine Gothic display beneath the organ by Forster & Andrews, 1903.
