Broxburn

'The valley of badgers', Broxburn is a West Lothian town situated on the Union Canal between Edinburgh and Glasgow. The bizarre 'bings' - great hills of waste from coal, iron and shale oil - dominate the area. Today its economy is centred on food manufacturing and light industry.
