Gullane Golf Club 2

The No 2 Course at Gullane was built at the end of the 19th century to accommodate the increasing numbers of golfers wanting to play on the Gullane links. The golf here is more hilly than at many of Scotlands classic links venues because of the Gullane Hill, a huge mass of basalt rock which trapped the sand blown from Aberlady Bay and which eventually stabilised into the undulating links terrain of today. However, the amount of climbing involved is a lot less than the visitor might think at first glance. The No 2 course shares the same wonderful turf and superb putting surfaces as the No 1 course.
